Congrats jOeY!

Joey found out this week that he won the Tops in Ops award from T-Mobile. It is an award that recognizes the top engineers in the company and it is a huge honor. Only a select few are chosen, so Joey was excited to receive this recognition. The award also comes with a trip that will be next year(to where, hasn't been announced yet) but we are really excited! The day he found out, the girls and I made him a cake and the girls decorated the walls with pictures. We had our own little congratulatory celebration...

Cowgirl Aubrey

Today was Aubrey's Spring Showcase at her preschool, Stacy's Studio of Music and Arts. It was an adorable Cowboys Round-Up Program where they sang songs like, "She'll be Coming 'Round the Mountain" and "Way out West." Aubrey was a little bit nervous about it this morning, but once she got up there she had a great time and did so good! At the end of the show, we were able to look at her artwork on the walls and different projects she's done recently. She also received a certificate from her teachers for "graduating" preschool. We can't believe how big Aubrey is getting and that next year she'll be in Kindergarten!

Happy baby

Cali is smiling more and more each day. It is so fun to watch! Here are some of the smiles we've captured the past couple of days, plus some others of her just hangin out. She is so adorable and such a blessing to our family!

Finally, nice weather!

April has been a strange month, weather-wise. It actually snowed not too far from here at the beginning of the month! Crazy. There were also tornados and hail in the Dallas area just last week. Thankfully, the weather has changed. It has been perfect this past week, so the girls have been enjoying playing outside. The weather couldn't be better!

On my own

Today was the first time I took all 3 girls out by myself. Okay, so it was just to drop off Aubrey at preschool, but an accomplishment nonetheless! Cali started crying when we stopped in the carpool lane. Isn't that funny how babies seem to know when the car stops? Aubrey actually said something like, "Mom, this will be embarassing with Cali crying." Our little five-year old is already worrying about other people and what they think! Just last month, she wanted me to turn the radio down when we pulled up. Its pretty funny. Its just the beginning...=) Anyways, drop-off was a success and I spent most of the day with Ella and Cali. Here is a picture of Ella holding Cali with the help of a boppy pillow. She is a GREAT little helper. She throws out the diapers, puts dirty clothes in the laundry hamper for me, and tells me when Cali spits up or cries. We had a good day together...

Bathtime for Cali

Cali is not a fan of bathtime, but once she's wrapped up in her towel she is really quiet and content... probably because she knows its over. =)

Nana & Tata visit

This past week Joey's parents, "Nana and Tata" to the girls, visited. It was nice to have company and extra sets of helping hands. They had just gotten back from a trip to Guam, which is where they are from. Below is a picture of the girls in island dresses they brought back for them. They love them! They had so much fun dancing around the house to island music that evening.

Happy Easters! (If you've seen Nacho Libre, you get it.)

Here are the girls in their beautiful Easter dresses. Right now, Aubrey and Ella are at church with their daddy while Cali and I are hanging out here. Not quite ready to take her to church or have her around a lot of people yet. She is asleep(yea!), so I thought I'd post all of our Easter pics from this weekend while I had a minute. We've had a really nice Easter, even though we are sad its our first Easter without our extended family. We miss everyone, but hope you guys are having a great Easter day. Take care...
Grandma bought Aubrey and Ella these beautiful Easter dresses. Aunt Cindy bought them the adorable purses. They're going to church in style today. Nana and Tata sent this precious dress for Cali. Aren't grandparents and aunts great? They fully clothed our girls for Easter this year=) Thanks!Look what the Easter bunny brought!
Bundled up to go egg hunting-its freezing cold today!!

Easter Fun

The girls had fun making and decorating Easter cookies Friday night. The best part was eating them of course!

Last night, we boiled and dyed Easter eggs for the Easter bunny to hide this morning along with the candy eggs he hides. The girls really loved it. Only two eggs cracked=)

Cali woke up as we were finishing, just in time for a kiss from mommy.

Life with 3 little gals

We can't believe 10 days have already gone by since Cali has joined our family. She gets cuter with each day and we love to just look at her. The girls are having so much fun with her, even though Ella thinks she cries too loud sometimes=) Its an adjustment, but the girls are handling everything well. Last week, my family(the Smith's) were able to visit. Grandma stayed for a week and helped SOOO much. We also got to see Grandpa and Uncle Taylor along with Aunt Tara and Aunt Cindy. It was fun to have so many people here! The girls were sad to see everyone go and I was especially sad to say goodbye to my mom=( It was so nice to have her here with us that week. Anyways, here are some pics from the past week and a half...
