No, really, it is the librarian over the building. Our building is the stake center, so I'm the big kahuna. I told Joey I was going to start sporting a bun and some reading glasses to fit the part. I don't really know what to think of this calling yet. It doesn't seem extremely demanding. It seems like something I could do with the baby. And I'm not having to teach adults which is my number one fear. So, I guess this will be good for me? We have a ward librarian-I'll sort of be like the manager of all of the librarians I guess. I'll have to make sure it gets organized and that we have all the materials we need. I think I'm going to be the best darn secret(I've changed the name and added the word "secret" to make it sound cooler) agent librarian IN THE WORLD!!!

Hey Holly! It's LaNan (the one that lives in Buda) Thanks for the comment on my blog. We really love Buda. We just moved here in April but have lived in Austin for 6 years and were always eyeballin Buda. We love it! What part of Buda did you live in? Congrats on the Librarian calling. Sounds like a fun (and easy) one!
Hey LaNan! We lived in Bradfield Village, basically backing to the lovely huge green Cabela's. Buda is a wonderful little town and will always hold a special place in our hearts. You should check out the library storytimes if you haven't already. The librarian thats in charge of storytime, Martha, is absolutely wonderful! They also get to make arts and crafts along with the storytime. You don't get that too many places. Anyways, I'll be checkin your blog...take care and enjoy your new town!
secret agent librarian! that totally rocks!!! you should definitely go with the sexy librarian look. it will totally work for you. and it beats enrichment leader, which is what i got recently. prepare to be enriched! ;)
You dodged several bullets. Any calling that does not involve caring for other people's kids is a good one.
I love that you are the new "head" secret agent librarian--you're big time, lady! I love the picture you posted and think you would look fabulous as such :) You're hilarious, by the way.
Congrats on your calling. You'll have to do Sis. Tsusi proud and be the new Nazi Librarian. :) I'm horrible, I know.
Thats funny you mentioned her Kim-I was totally thinking about her yesterday when I got the calling!
It's good to be the head honcho -- you will do a wonderful job. They are lucky to have you. I want you back in our Primary!
Yay for you!! I think that sounds like one lucky calling!! And you are going to be one sexy librarian. Don't give those little deacons too much to fantasize about. Is that blasphemous?
NO CHALK FOR YOU!!!
That's funny. Angie just got called to librarian for 2nd Ward and she was in there last Sunday trying to get familiarized with things and Sister Tsui went in there and was giving Angie what for and practically slapped Angie's hand or Phil's when he went to open a drawer and said no, no you don't touch that drawer it was hysterical when she was telling me I had to laugh. So the picture you chose was too hilarious as well, pretty good. Enjoy your new calling.
So, Sister Tsutsui is still in there? Wow, shes been in there forever now. I'm not surprised she practically slapped Angie, not surprised at all. She scares me.
