The cure for laundry is right here! Yeah, thats right.

As I was folding one of many many loads of laundry the other day, I got to thinking(a dangerous pasttime, I know), "Is there any other way???!!??" I am so tired of laundry. It is one of those never-ending cycles in life. You wear, you wash, you fold, you put away. It never ends. For the rest of our lives we will be doing this- which is not a pleasant thought. Then the thought occured to me, if I didn't wear clothes, then there would be no laundry. Yes, I've got it! No more clothes, no more laundry!!!! Those nudist colonies hit the nail on the head. I always thought they were weird and a little too open for me, but they are truly genius!! So, I am leaving this week to join a nudist colony. I've heard Hippie Hollow in Austin is welcoming new people, so Austin here I come.....

For those of you who don't know me very well, I am kidding. Just wanted to make sure no one thinks I truly want to look at naked people or be one of those naked people. That would be scary. Moreso for others than for myself.

I love the disclaimer at the bottom...I don't know you but assumed you weren't really going to join the nudist colony. Seriously, I hate laundry too. But I have my belly even more! Don't want to show it off to the entire village!

Can I come with you? (not in any sort of weird way!) I hate laundry too. What about dishes? Do you have a cure for dishes??

Holly you crack me up! I get sick of folding laundry too. I wonder who has more laundry you or me? You may have more kids then me, but my boys can be very messy!:) I like the changes you made to YOUR blog!

hmm......paper plates and cups? i know i've been buying more zoo pals plates lately, just to cut down on those darn dishes(and the kids love them) :) i guess thats not very environmentally whatever, but oh well.

I have never minded laundry. Weird, I know. I mind lots of other chores -- but I like laundry even though it never stops. Just makes me think of each person and how much I love them as I fold and put away their clothes. Weirdo me!

thanks for making me sound awful jan. j/k :) the main part i hate is putting it all away and hanging it up. switching loads and folding aren't too bad.

I am promptly printing and taping Jan's comments to the cupboard above our washing machine. What a woman!

I admit the only thing I hate about laundry is the putting it away part, I hate hate hate it. I don't mind washing and folding but putting away is the pits why I don't know. Kinda crazy I know but at one time I had the girls color coded so it would help Joe help me put the laundry away how crazy was that? Favorite scripture - "this too shall pass".

Fold laundry???? I just wad it up and throw it in the drawer!! Of course, it's just me, no kids, I guess I can do that if I want. The majority of my clothes, I hang. I hate, hate, hate to hang wet clothes!!! If you've ever been to my house, you'll notice that my clothes hang in my laundry room until I'm ready to wear them again....somehow they never seem to make it to my closet.....

Whatever, Holly, I know you are one big pro-active nudy girl! hee hee. Come back to Austin, anyway--even if you don't embrace the Hippie Hollow lifestyle :) I am with you on the laundry and only wish I could force someone else to do mine for the rest of my life.
