Day at the Museum

Today we ventured into Dallas to visit the Dallas Museum of Nature & Science. I have to say its one of the crappiest museums I've ever been to. The museum is in the middle of a remodel and there were a lot of exhibits being worked on, a lot of mess, and part of the place felt like the ac wasn't working. Lovely. But the kids really enjoyed exploring the place and had a blast. Thats all that matters! I'm sure the museum will be much better in a month or so when they are done with it. I hope so anyway! Aubrey was cracking us up the whole day. She is our worrier as you'll see from the pictures :) Anyways, here are a LOT of really cute pictures of the girls from today. We are a picture-taking family that is for sure. We made a lot of great memories!

When Aubrey saw this alligator, I don't think I've ever seen her run so fast:) She hightailed it right outta there. It was so funny. Ella didn't mind at all and even posed for a picture! Its so funny how different each child is.

Look at Aubrey's face in this one, not too sure about that snake

I saw them doing this and had to take a picture. How cute is that!?

In front of the"big dinosaur." Before we got to the dino exhibit, Aubrey asked me if any of the dinosaurs we would see would be alive:) She was serious.

Hey, I think that museum looks what if my opinion is biased because I live in dirty Jersey. I am pretty jealous of that bubble...that looks like my kind of fun!

when i said "crappiest" i meant stuff was just everywhere. it was a mess and half the exhibits were being worked on. gotta be better than dirty jersey:)

kids never mind a crappy museum, do they? i have to remember to think small with my kids. they like the crappy inexpensive things as much as they like the fabulous, expensive things.

Holly, Have ya'll been to the aquarium yet? When we went they had an amazon exhibit. It was all pretty darn impressive. It was so huge that we couldn't see it all because of everyone getting too tired. I have no clue what it is like these days (we went 2 summers ago), but you all might want to give it a try.

I love how Aubrey is a worry. She sounds like a little person I know.

no, we haven't-we'll have to check it out. thanks for the tip! we haven't done a whole lot since we've moved here but now that i'm not huge and pregnant and cali is getting older, we plan on doing more stuff. we'll have to do something fun together once you're settled in!

Aubrey asking if any of the dinosaurs would be alive reminds me just how new they are to the world. These days it is really a tough job protecting them from all that's out there. You do a great job though. I really love it that you guys are doing so many things together.

I love these pictures. How cute is the one with Ella pointing to her temples and the crystal in the background and everyone looks really scarred in front of the dinosaurs. Too cute. Looks like a great time was had by all.

I love the picture of Ella pointing to her head. I laughed out loud, really. It's so funny how different Aubrey and Ella's personalities are. Looks like you guys had fun; I enjoyed every picture. :)
