Wish me luck

Tomorrow my first child starts her first day of Kindergarten. Every time I think about it and how little she once was, I get this huge lump in my throat and have to fight back tears. A chapter in my life closes today. As I reflect on the past 6 years at home with my precious little girl, I can only say that they have been wonderful. I am blessed to be able to be a stay-at-home mommy and blessed to have been there with her every step of the way as she has learned and grown. She is a special little girl who radiates a very special light. I love her so much and am proud to be her mother. Wish me luck (and Aubrey too!). I think I may need it more though:) She feels ready more than I do! I know you may think I've gone a little slideshow crazy lately, but I just had this urge to put together a little slideshow of my little girl. She has grown so fast!

:(

It brought a tear to my eye.

You're good...you're very good. You are American Super Mommy.

Oh Holly, I think we're mentally linked tonight! This little video & song makes my little heart melt. I'm teary and I have never even met her! She is SO sweet in these pictures! Why do kids have to grow up?

Good luck to both of you today. Aubrey is such a sweet girl. I loved watching the slidshow you made for her. You are a wonderful mom.

I hope you are surviving your morning. As much as I am looking forward to the day Ryder starts school, I am seriously dreading it. You are so amazing. And just think, when she gets home you get to hug her and ask her how her day was and give her cookies and be a mommy with a girl in kindergarten. That's what life is all about, right?

I remember this time so well. They need to go, learn and grow -- but you want to throw yourself at her teacher's feet and beg her to be nice to your child. She will do well because she has you at home, supporting her.

Beautiful, I can hear the song playing in my head, too. I hope she had a great first day of school. I'll be calling later today to see how it went.

So how was her first week? I know Jenna has been exhausted every afternoon even with going to bed nice and early. It takes alot out of them physically and mentally. She'll be great....just like her mommy and daddy. The pictures are precious...they brought back lots of memories. We miss you all.
