Sometimes I wish everyone didn't poop. Tonight was one of those times.

My friend, Melissa, and I went to the new Peter Piper Pizza tonight. Joey is out of town and her husband was working so we decided to eat, hang out and let the kids play. We were enjoying ourselves until Ella came up to me crying saying, "I pooped in my underwear Mom!" Fabulous. I looked for Melissa to see if she could watch Cali while I took Ella to the bathroom. Then, Melissa comes walking up with her son Dax, who is Ella's age, and says, "He just pooped in his pants." Then I told her about Ella and we just couldn't believe it! Both kids crapped their pants. Our kids are totally potty-trained and so this isn't something that happens often. So, we then had the pleasure of wiping our kids bottoms and cleaning them up all in the bathroom(all the while I'm holding Cali mind you-yes, I'm talented). I thought, well, at least I wasn't alone in the misery:) We couldn't help but laugh, even though it was a sad "life stinks sometimes" (literally) sort of laugh. To top it off as we are exiting the bathroom, someone opens the door and its smacks Dax right in the head. He was already crying and this just was the icing on the cake. Poor little guy. The woman that did it made a loud noise in surprise which scared Cali and then she started crying. So, we left Peter Piper with some very sad children, but I'm already looking back on this experience and laughing. Are you laughing yet Melissa?? Good times at Peter Pooper Pizza.

Here are some happy people at Peter Piper. Obviously not a picture of us.

Peter Pooper haha that's funny. I can't believe they both had accident's at the same time. What are they putting in that pizza?

What an evening! It is definitely a night we will both remember. I still can't believe they both pooped the same time. I least we can laugh together about this. :)

That is hilarious, Holly--you know I love the stories about poop, so this is right up my alley! I love your attitude about it, though, becausev pooping one's pants is not always fun!

I almost fell out of my chair at work when I read this. Too hillarious! At least now it is. Julie always loves it when she has to take Jacie to the bathroom in a store or restaurant. Jacie has to announce to the world about someone's poop stinking, or "wipe my hiney" or something like that. Why is it kids always need to "go" when you go out? They can sit in front of the TV for hours, but go in the store for 10 minutes and the bowels begin to rumble.

ella does stuff similar. she always has to exclaim very loudly in the public bathrooms stuff like, "i'm pushing hard mom!" or "it won't come out!!" or "ewww!" i'm like, ok, please don't tell the world. and its true how they always have to "go" when we go out, usually when we have been at a park for 5 minutes where there are not bathrooms. i hate that! then we have to go home. all the work of taking them there for nothin. aye these kids! :)

I'm just wondering how you cleaned them up, and got them home. Did the underwear go in the garbage? :)

Sounds like you had a busy night but good that you can laugh about it and sounds like it'll be one of those stories that'll get repeated.
