Getting all "poleetical"

These people may be our options this year for President of the United States of America.....this is scary.

As most of you know, Mitt Romney pulled out of the presidential race today. And, as most of you know, I'm a Conservative. So, I'm bummed. I knew after Not-So-Super Tuesday he wasn't going to get the Republican nomination, but still, I'm bummed. He was the only candidate who stood for the things that I believe in, the only one I feel was a true Conservative in the race. I'm not an extremely political person. What I mean by that really is that I don't sit at home for hours watching debates and political analysts arguing constantly. I do follow it and keep informed though. I know the issues and I know the candidates enough with a little of my own research to know who I want to vote for. I know what the differences between Conservatives like Romney and Liberals like Clinton and Obama are. And McCain, whaaaa? Sorry, but he's no Republican to me. I don't know what that guy is. Sorry to get all poleetical(Nacho Libre reference)l on you, but I'm disappointed. And thats it. I feel like America doesn't have any good choices in a Presidential candidate left.

Oh, and if anyone reading this is offended, thats your right to be offended, but this is my blog. So, I can write what I think and there is nothing you can do about it. Yeah baby!! Free speech all the way... I love the United States! :)

Everything you said is what we're all thinking in the Rollins house. I am thankful for the right to vote, but I'm not going to vote this year. I'll let the rest of America vote for who they want. We'll see Romney running again in 4 years after our horrible president ruins America.

Those pictures are hillarious! I'm not even registered to vote, so I guess my opinion really doesn't matter.

Those pictures are fabulous, and I am with you. No thanks Hillary or McCain. I was sad to see Romney go too.

I'm with you, Holly. Not such good choices for president, eh? The pictures you put up on there are great, though. when your page was first loading, i was like "Ahhh! Where have I clicked too??". It was frightening at first, but i calmed down after i read your post. :)

Great comments, Holly. I'm with you 100%. It's hard to think that this is what we have to choose between. Sigh.

I couldn't agree more. I was pretty bummed.

That darn Huckabee is the problem. OH WELL! I was excited about Romney as a candidate because I was like finally someone I could really support as President instead of choosing the lesser of two evils. Is evil too strong? Oh well , my comment, my opinion! Anyways, I suggest we still vote for Romney and write him in on the ballot come November.

it's hard to find a candidate that represents you, that is for sure. that's why i'm so cynical, politically. that's a bummer.

Wow, lots of comments on this subject huh! Now that Romney is out of the race, I suddenly don't have an interest in any of it because I am real scared!
