Poster post

I'm on the actitivites committe at church and we are having a western night coming up soon. I was asked to do the flyers and the posters to display in the hallways. I know the poster isn't the cutest thing in the world, but I did it and I think its kinda cute, well, not too shabby. Any nice comments to make me feel like it was cute would be appreciated. Lie if you have to. Lie, lie away.

The clever use of text fonts with just the hint of western origins is especially appealing to the Texan eye. Your expressive verbiage evokes cowboy imagery at it's finest. Lastly, the ever familiar Texas Lariat tied in a way reminiscent of the Buckaroo Scarf Knot is also a nice touch. Well done.

I cannot tell a lie...That is dang cute!!! I esp. like the rope on it very 3D-ish...really catches the eye! If people don't come they are stupid, because anything that had that cute of an announcement is sure to be a good time!!!

10 points for creativity and ditto all that "rd" said. I always like it when it has that "3-D" look. Now, Joey, try that chili recipe again perhaps the "taste~testers" will try what real chili should taste like. Sounds like you are all going to have a great time at the Chili Cookoff and Square Dance.

No lying necessary -- very cute!

Try mom's chili recipe, she's won several cook-off's with it. They would keel over if they knew how she actually makes it (it's just so simple).
