Someone's gonna get lucky tonight

Okay, get your mind out of the gutter, I didn't mean that !)

I meant the winner of this beaute....

Tonight is the much anticipated Ward Chili-Cook Off and Square Dance. Joey and I made the above pictured "chili bowl trophy" for the grand prize winner of the cook-off. Isn't it cool? And no, I'll admit, it wasn't my idea. I found it on the internet of course. I'm not that creative. I get all of "my ideas" from the internet:)
So, let the chili games begin!!! May the best chili cooker win!

If I would have known I could win that awesome trophy, I so would have entered the cook-off! I'm sad I couldn't go, but now I am so curious who got to take that bad boy home.

Being a judge was so difficult. But glad I got to taste all of them! Great job on the trophy!

thanks! the way it was made: ceramic bowl, styrofoam, pinto beans, spoon, gold spray paint. glue gun styrofoam into bowl, stab spoon into middle, pour hot glue onto styrofoam, pour beans on top, press into place. spray paint. let dry!

the rowe's won the trophy with their delicious "white chili." it was a fun night-i'm posting pics soon.

The person who tried the most chili and survives their horrible gas should get that trophy. Very cool trophy by the way. You are so crafty (even if you stole the idea from the internet).
