We actually watched a baseball game

This past weekend our good friends, The Roberts, invited us to the Texas Rangers vs. Oakland A's game....and it didn't rain! With our baseball game luck lately, I thought it would rain for sure. We had lots of fun! I have been friends with Anayansi since the 9th grade. We went to school and seminary together. Then we were in institute together and met and started dating our now-husbands around the same time. We were actually married within 2 weeks of each other at the Dallas Texas Temple! Then we were pregnant around the same time-our oldest daughters are both in Kindergarten. We have all managed to move to the same areas of Texas around the same time too. First we were in Corpus Christi, then Austin, and now the Dallas area! Pretty cool! Its nice to have a friend from way back when that I still am able to hang out with! Thanks Ian and Anayansi for inviting us(and for the sweet hookups:)! We all had a great time. The Rangers won much to our husbands disappointment-they are both California guys:) Go Texas! :) he he

What I love most about this picture is the older gentleman sitting behind me. He's got this sly grin and he seems to be actually posing for the picture too. What a stud he is.

Joey & Cali girl. She was quite squirmy that night and wore both Joey and I's arms out. She is at that age where she wants to get down and go! She was a trooper though, especially with it being well past her bedtime. Look at that adorable grin.

It was a bit hot and humid- drinks were a must! Here's Ella enjoying her Sprite.

The girls. Oh wait, where is Jenna? Well, the girls, minus little Jenna. She must've snuck off with her Daddy:)

Yeah for baseball. We love going to the games. I think Joe was the only one I've ever known to have eaten a "strawberry shortcake" at a baseball game Angels v. can't remember. Anyway, too cute looks like everyone had fun. I love the picture of Cali and Joey I think they look alike in that picture their smiles.

I'm cracking up at the pic with the old guy posing behind you. He is making me laugh and you are making me laugh because you noticed him!! (I would have too, I think, but you helped!) Fun times with old friends -- that's the best.

i think baseball is the world's most BORING sport to watch.

that is until i saw a live game, and i must say, it does redeem itself a little.

it's all about who you are with as well, right? looks like fun!

I'm glad it didn't rain on you guys. My friend went to that game too and was telling me beforehand that it might rain. Good thing she was wrong. Cali looks so much bigger since the last time I saw her, maybe it's just the picture. I guess I'll find out this weekend. Yay!

Your family is so CUTE! I think Cali gets cuter with each picture you post.
What a fun outing. I have a best friend like you do. We met in 7th grade and have been "soul mates" every since. It is great to have friends that share memories from way back. (Of course way back for me is ancient history.)

I was born in Lubboch,Texas and lived in Andrews for a while. That works out well because if a Texas team plays here in Ca. I can root for both. (My husband who is a native Californian excuses me by saying "once a Texan, always a Texan.)

Thanks for giving me "thumbs up" on my brag spot....I mean my blog spot. I agree with you whole heartedly. I always love your comments. Have a good day. We are leaving for Utah after we finish working in the temple tomorrow night. Wish us well....I hate to leave that late but we have to be in SLC by 3:00 Friday to see Loni dance.

What a fun night. I have such great memories of going to Dodger and Angel games growing up. I even got Steve Garvy's Signature. But I am sure you are way to young to know who that is. Ü
