Happy Father's Day!

I am so blessed to have 3 wonderful dads in my life. First is my Joey. He is EVERYTHING I ever wanted my husband to be. And not only is he a wonderful husband, he is the best daddy my girls could ask for. He spends every minute he can with them. He plays Barbies with them. He reads to them. He takes them to every Home Depot Kids Workshop. He gives them free golf and surf lessons:) He loves to dance with them. He teaches them about legos, transformers, and blowing stuff up(j/k). He is patient, gentle and so loving to them. And he is just fun! I remember when Joey and I were getting to know each other. The first time he came over to my parents house, he immediately hit it off with my littlest brothers who were at the time around the ages of 6 and 8. He had Taylor laughing and laughing as they arm wrestled on the floor- maybe 10 minutes after they met. He is so good with kids. I remember watching them laugh together and seeing how quickly my brothers loved him and thinking-he is the one! :) He fit right in with my family and I know they all immediately loved him as I did. Joey, thank you for being so awesome. There are days when I just watch you on the couch as you read to the kids in your silly voices. I just smile and know I found the perfect man for me. And the perfect father for my children. We hope you enjoyed breakfast. . .

Aubrey & Ella were the best egg beaters ever
And while we cooked breakfast, Cali decided to "help" in the pantry.

Nothing like playing with a couple of potatoes and then throwing them at your mother. (Okay, she really didn't throw it, but it definitely scared me:) I think she didn't want me to take her picture)

Breakfast is served!

I also want to wish my dad a Happy Father's Day. He is a smart, loving, hardworking man. He had to work offshore when we were growing up, which made him gone a week, home a week, etc. I know that was a hard job but he kept at it, to make sure we were always taken care of. I look back on that now and realize what a big sacrifice that was and what a hard job that must have been. He also has a great sense of humor. I loved it when he would act silly, tickle us and joke around. He loved to give knuckle sandwiches and stick my sister on top of the entertainment center:) Never a dull moment. Oh yeah, and of course how could we forget the Dairy Queen stops? Blizzards were our favorite treat from my dad. I love you Dad. Thanks for everything you've done for me to help me become who I am today. Thank you also for being a sweet and loving Grandpa to my girls. They think the world of you.

Cali and her Grandpa

And of course, Happy Father's Day Joe! From the moment I met you, I loved you! You are so much like Joey-how could I not? You are such a great Tata to our girls. I love how you get down on the floor with them and let them climb on you. I love how silly you are with them. They love to play with you! I also wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the example you have been to Joey as a child and now as an adult. You are the perfect example of hard work, humility, kindness, dedication, and righteousness. Joey is the great man he is because of you. We all love you so much. Thanks for everything you do for the entire family. And also, thanks for putting up with all of our pranks:) You are definitely the funnest person to wake up from a nap-he he:)

And a big Happy Father's Day to all fathers everywhere! Hope you all have a great day!

Happy Father's Day to all you fathers. Joey's breakfast looked delightful, good job girls. Good job Cali for helping with the potatoes (I think it would have been grand if she had chunked them at you). hee hee

Happy Father's Day to Joey, Holly's Dady, and Joey's Dad. It's so important to have men with amazing qualities in our lives and it's been fun looking at all the blogs that tell how truly incredible so many men are.

OK, so I realize that my leaving multiple comments just to get ahead in the comment counter is getting slightly annoying. But my family is coming into town on Wednesday and they'll be here until the end of the month, so I figure if I'm going to ever be #1, it's going to be now and then Tara and Melissa can take it back.
