Moms can swing too

We have this little swingset we love! We(well, Joey) managed to cram it into our teeny backyard when we moved here with it. Good thing we bought a small swingset when we lived in Austin! Otherwise the kids would have nothing but some grass and the neighbors cat poop to play with. Anyways, this swingset has provided hours of entertainment for both young and old. It was a great buy! I love it because its small and I don't have to worry about anyone falling off of a huge fort or something. We plan to eventually upgrade to a larger one if we ever have a larger yard and when the kids are a little older. But for now, its the perfect swingset! And see? Even I get in on the swinging action! I've only whacked my head on the pole once...okay, maybe twice:)

Cute swinging pics from last month(before the weather became horribly hot) Ahhh...I long for spring weather. I feel like we only had "spring" weather for 2 weeks this year!

Oh, and a couple of more swinging shots from the park that I had to include because they are just so darn cute! And if you're wondering where Aubrey was in all of these pictures, she was at school. I don't play favorites and just photograph my younger two :)

We were at this park with Melissa and her boys, when all the sudden, she busted out this move. I was seriously impressed. I SO could not do this. I couldn't do it as a kid and I can't do it now. Wow Melissa. See, moms like to swing too! Even upside down from a pole. I'm still impressed by this. Just when you think you know someone, they surprise you with a hidden talent. . .

Melissa, I hope you aren't mad I posted this but you know anytime I have a camera and I push that little button, that moment in time is forever mine and therefore is bloggable. Don't be a hater.

Love that move of Melissa's! I still take a ride in the swings everytime we go to the park.

I enjoyed the pictures of all three cute girls, Calli, Ella and Holly.

It does my heart good to see you having fun with your little ones. It doesn't seem that long ago that my 3 girls were young. How time flies.

By the way, I wish I'd had you in class. I bet I would have made you my student of the year too.

Ooh, Melissa, you go! Yeah, I couldn't do that either without getting stuck up there on the bar and/or breaking something-like my neck for example. I love the park pictures of the girls. Cali is just the cutest baby girl!

Ha! That's a great excuse about taking Melissa's pic. Remind me that I should always look fresh n' ready when I'm around you. We know you tote your camera around 24/7. It probably charges under your pillow huh? Ha!

Loved the pictures and the fact that you are not afraid to be a child with your children. I was like that as well, although nowadays if I got on a swing it would probably explode under the strain!!

What a bunch of swingers! :) My kids would love something in the backyard. I think I must be getting old because the last time I was at the park, I got on the swings with Trey and a few minutes into it I started feeling a little on the sick side.
