California! Day 6, Our Hollywood Adventure

On our sixth day in California, we headed down in the morning to L.A. to check out Beverly Hills and Hollywood. I had never been to the Walk of Fame, Mann's Chinese Theatre or gotten to cruise down the famous Rodeo Drive. I was so excited to go! Thanks Joey for taking us and making all of my wildest dreams come true:)

Here we are at the famous footprints/handprints in front of the theatre. Aubrey found little Shirley Temple's handprints.
And we found the cast of Harry Potter!

Ella walking in Donald Ducks footsteps

I found Dorothy! (Judy Garland) Theres no place like Hollywood:)
Joey shaking hands with Mr. Frank SinatraJulie Andrews
Good Ole Dean MartinStar Wars character prints
Our camera battery died, so Joey took a couple of pictures with his camera phone of the Walk of Fame. Here is "Jo Travolta." Thanks chick that stepped on the star RIGHT when Joey was taking the pictures. We appreciate it.
This guy was hilarious. Lovin the Spidey mask.

This pic is for you, Watson!
Isn't this the most hilarious and kinda disturbing picture you've ever seen? The kids got these masks from someone handing out Space Chimps stuff on Hollywood Blvd. These masks have provided hours of laughs:) And yes, the picture below is of Ella & Aubrey!

The picture was taken later in the day when it was cool outside- just wanted to clarify that the kids weren't wearing sweatshirts in the heat of the day, just to so we could get a great picture:)

Wow, that is neat that you got to visit those sites! Those masks you got are really unusual. I didn't realize it was the girls for a while.
They are so real looking!

I have never been to any of those places in California. Looks like it was fun. I didn't realize Aubrey and Ella were wearing those monkey masks. I thought you took a picture of some other kids.

Oh, good ol Hollyweird. Every time I go, something surprises me. Those masks are a hoot! I put my hands in Shirley Temples handprints as a child too!

I'm gald that you had a good time in CA. Here is hoping that you will come back soon.

We are enjoying our Utah visit with our kids. I need to rest after our Wyoming river trip but there is so much going on here I don't get much chance to do that. Give the girls my love....

p.s. While we were in Wyoming Claire said that she wished Aubrey and Ella were there to play with.

Great Hollywood shots. Thanks for checking out Judy Garland~Dorothy my favorite. I love the walk of that area always entertaining to say the least. We used to always watch the Hollywood parade it was a fun time for our family~traditional for sure. I think those monkeys are the cutest I've ever seen.

I've been there before a few times but I was there in those same spots like 6 days before you!! How crazy would it have been if it was the same day?? I was there with my best friend and her husband and his friends from Ireland-we were showing them around and of course Crystal and I went shopping in the fashion district. I wish we had gotten some of those masks though!!! Those are sweet!!
