This dude can fix anything

This is my husband.

His name is Joey.

He can fix anything.

He is mine.

This is the story of our weekend...

On Friday afternoon, our downstairs AC unit stopped working. Perfect. With the crazy heat lately, this was not the best thing that could happen. A friend of ours that works with air conditioners came over that evening to look at it and told Joey what needed to be fixed. The friend said he couldn't fix it until the following week, so we were left wondering what to do- either wait until our friend could fix it(at a much cheaper price than a major company) and go the whole weekend in heat OR call a place that could fix it Saturday and dump a wad o' cash. Well, Joey chose neither option and decided to try and fix it himself. And by golly, he did it! He went and bought the part, came home, and fixed the sucker. The poor guy spent hours in the heat of the attic on Saturday working on it. It was a lot of work. And I know it was so hot up there. We were dying in the house and so I know the attic was ten times worse! But when the AC turned on and started blowing cold air again, it was like the angels were singing:) Not only did he save us from further heat, he also saved us hundreds of dollars(we had gotten an over $500 quote from an AC company- Joey spent less than ten bucks!). Thanks Joey! You can fix anything! You never cease to amaze me with your skillz(nunchuck, bowstaff, appliance repair, etc). I'm one lucky lady! I love you!

:-) It's so nice to have a handy man around! Way to go Joey! My Todd is not so handy when it comes to things like this, but he is a good foot rubber . . . and he does dishes! I guess that makes up for it!

Whoa, 500 Bucks! Ouch!!! That's awesome that Joey was able to fix it 'all by himself' (read like The Man Who Knew Too Little).

joey, you're awesome! must have been so stinking hot up there! the fridge, and now the a/c - you should start hiring out as a handyman, then you could charge the $500 to fix it for someone else :)
