For the record, I'm not much of an exerciser. I usually get motivated and only stay motivated for a short amount of time-its a challenge for me! Its hard to squeeze time in(I guess I could replace blogging with exercising? ...Yeah right!) And then some days I just don't feel like it, so I don't. I guess I have always said to myself, "Well, I walk up and down the stairs in my house probably twenty times a day-thats good enough:)" Well, it isn't. I decided I need to really do something. A fitness center isn't really an option for me right now. I don't want to shell out the cash, but mainly I don't want my kids to be at one of those gym childcares. Thats just how I am-I only feel comfortable with certain people that I know and trust really well to watch my kids. And Cali is just so little that it makes me nervous to leave her anywhere. Maybe I'll join the Y when she is older or when I can do it in the evenings or early mornings when Joey is home with the kids.
Anyways, I decided that right after I drop off the kids at school, Cali and I will go for a jog in the neighborhood. And on the days when Ella doesn't go to school, Ella will roll with us too. So far, the kids both have enjoyed the walks and I feel so much better about myself already. I am also throwing in an aerobics video a couple of times a week. I REALLY hope I can stick with this! I figured if I blogged it, that would help me to not give up. I now have my goal written down for the world to see and I don't want to fail you!
Here are a few pictures of my tiniest exercise buddy, Cali.

You can do it! I started the same way -- just walking -- and eventually got so hooked on it that I started running etc.
Good music helps, that's for sure!
Run Holly Run! Does this mean that I'll be exercising too in a few days?!? ;)
Good for you!! I'm sure Cali will love spending that time with you. Keep it up....
Good for you!! What a cute partner you have! I do the gym early early in the morning and never use the child care either :) I'm usually back to the house by 7.
Wow, good luck! It's very hard for me to get motivated too... I'll do some excercise for a couple days, a week tops, and then conveniently forget about it. And what a cute jogging partner! She looks so happy. :)
Good for you! I think the hardest part is starting, but once you have a routine down it becomes easier. You have one cute jogging partner.

John is in the hospital tonight. I was at urgent care all day with him because he was having chest pains. The EKG said it was not a heart attack which is good but they could not get it to stop so they admitted him tonight. They will run more tests and observe him.
Please remember him in your prayers. thanks and love, Lura
