Christmas in the Square

We went to Frisco's "Christmas in the Square" Saturday evening and it was beautiful! It is home of the largest synchronized light show in Texas. It was cool how the lights were flashing to the music that was playing. Our favorite was when the lights were going crazy during that Trans-Siberian Orchestra song, "Wizards in Winter."(the song playing right now)The Frisco tree
One of the highlights was when we were able to see real reindeer!
There were different booths set up all over the place. One of them was the Frisco Police Department. They had this big remote control Officer McGruff cruising around the place. Cali kept laughing at him. He would spin around and talk and she thought that was pretty cool...except when he got too close. Then she yelled, "Noooo!" quite angrily.

Another highlight of the night was when the snow machines turned on. Texans get real excited about fake snow:)

Cali kept trying to eat it. And it was soap.
A HUGE highlight of Ella's night was that she actually went up to this Snoopy character to get a picture. This is her first time to get a character picture since she was a baby/toddler. She is always too afraid(she wanted nothing to do with any Disney characters at Disneyland if you remember). And Chuck E. Cheese, don't even get me started. Anyways, she was nervous, but she really wanted to do it. And she did! She was beaming after her picture with this ghetto looking Snoopy and a grown man dressed as Charlie Brown.
There was this place set up where they had all of these model RC trains going through these really cool landscapes. We warmed up inside this building while watching the trains go by. It was a chilly night and this helped to recharge us all:) Then we went back outside and partied more.
It was a fun Christmas-y evening! We finished it off with hot cocoa at home. I love all the stuff to do with your family around this time of year. Lots of memories to be made and traditions to either continue or begin!

That looks like lots of fun! I love all the lights! It's amazing! I was hoping we could take Jonah to it this year. We'll see how that goes with being on bedrest and all! It's so hard to be on bedrest when there are so many fun activities to do during the holidays! This is my favorite time of the year!

The light show sounds awesome! I'm so proud of Ella for taking a picture with the scary Snoopy and Charlie Brown. I don't think I could have done that, lol
