Our pretty little gingerbread house

Last night we decorated our gingerbread house! Notice how I said "decorated" not "made." If Wilton wants to bake it and put it together for me, I let them:)

This was Cali while I was using the mixer to mix the frosting. She thought it was really exciting! I also think she thought she was going to get to eat all the icing. She was disappointed when I didn't carry the bowl over to her for her to eat. And a little mad.
Here are the girls helping their Daddy decorate the rooftop.
Here is me trying my hand at the piping on the edges. I wasn't very good at it. The girls did great at putting enough candy on top of it to cover up my mistakes though:) So, thanks kids.
Ta-da!!!!

Our finished house! I think this is the prettiest one so far. The girls are actually old enough to understand what decorating is. In years past, they just stuck whatever wherever:)

How beautiful Holly! Last night at Young Women's we did gingerbread houses to take to some families with young children next week as a service project. I have to say your little girls did a much nicer job than our 14 year olds did!

so cute - the girls did an awesome job! I ended up making( by making I mean icing together graham crackers) and decorating ours yet again this year all by my lonesome - hopefully Savy will want to get on in the festivities next year!
