Thanksgiving Break in CC

This is my last "catch up" post and then I'll be caught up -hooray! :) This blogging thing is lot of work! But I liiike it.

Thanksgiving was spent in Corpus Christi with both sets of family. We are blessed to have both sets of parents in the same city! I love how we are able to see everyone each holiday. We stuffed our faces full of lots of great food and spent a lot of quality time with our loved ones. Here are some of the highlights from the time spend with my parents....

Our family loves to get together and play tennis at the nearby park. Here is tennis pro, Aubrey Ann...

Ella got so into it. It was so cute!

The chill corner. This is where we chilled between games with our Capri Suns, courtesy of Grandma.
One day we headed to the mall, did some shopping, and visited the Polar Express area. I even got to meet the conductor, Mr. Tom Hanks himself!

The kids and Grandma watch the train go by.

Carousel ride

Me, my mom and sis pose for a Twilight shot. Look at us sportin our Twilight gear and lookin mighty fine.

Thanksgiving Day at my Grandparents home. Here are a few of the "Great grandkids" with a couple of "Grands" thrown in.

Cali and her cousin Berlin eye the dessert table. Just seconds later Cali grabbed a piece of fudge:)

All the kids had lots of fun picking oranges from my grandparents trees (and eating them!)

My family got a new maltese puppy while we were there(an early Christmas present for my bros). He is so cute! We all agreed on the name Bowser...anyone that knows my family, knows this suits them perfectly:) My brothers=nintendo crazies.

Cali and Bowser taking a break. It had been a long day:)

And here are some of the highlights from Joey's parents house....

The girls and the boys(their cousins, Don & Kaikoa) playing at the park

Nana planned a really fun activity for the kids, a "Championship Cook-Off." Ella & Don paired up to make dinner(Chicken Cacciatori) and Aubrey & Kai paired up to make Strawberry Shortcake. The kids had so much fun creating their meals. Here they are at work. . .

Cali supervised:)

Enjoying the fruits of their labor. It was so delicious! They did an awesome job.

We planned an awards ceremony where each participant received an award. They loved that. The girls treasure their awards!

Thanksgiving Day! Joe and his tasty turkey. It was yum! And so was everything else we ate that day. I definitely gained weight on this trip....

Here are just a couple of silly pics. Here is Cali driving her car....

And Ella showing us her strength...And we even got to celebrate Don's 12th birthday. Happy Birthday Don Roy! We love you very much and were so glad we were able to share your birthday with you! Thanks for being such an awesome cousin to our girls. As you can see, we were BUSY in Corpus Christi! Thank you to everyone that had us in their homes and showed us such a great time. Can't wait to see you again in just a couple of weeks!
