Want to know what I think about the Swine Flu?

The answer is probably no, but in case you are curious, my bloggin bud, Tib, said it all in this post. And she said it better than I would have. Thanks Tib for cutting my work in half tonight:)

I agree. It's just another distraction being used by the administration to scare us into passing more legislation. "IT'S AN EMERGENCY!!! You have to pass universal healthcare or else you may die!" I need more duct tape to wrap around my head before it explodes. Do you think that would be covered by universal healthcare?

I just try not to think about it all. I think there is a lot of scaremongering going on. An ounce of prevention however has always been worth a pound of cure and so I shall be careful as I can be.

The right hand and the left hand is never connected in this administration. Watch both sides huh. Great job Tib.

Oh I sooo agree! This is totally rediculous. Half the school was practically out for "regular" flu this season and they didn't cancel school or any activities for that, but now they cancel all school field trips and sports?! And then they are still holding concerts? It makes no sense at all. Get a grip people! And that NY flyby got like 2 seconds of airtime. It should have been blasted all over the news for people to get upset about. But I go on and on sorry :)

With the closing of schools and all what about all the public places we go like the grocery stores the parks yadda yadda. Perhaps too much hype for sure. Also, we've come a long way since 1918 if memory seves me right. Oh well, what do I know I'm not a senator.
