An eggroll emergency?

While opening a package of eggroll wrappers yesterday, I noticed this interesting piece of information(the "P.S." at the bottom). . .

Well, lucky for us, it wasn't an emergency:) We had a good 30 minutes to kill and everything was A.O.K. No eggroll emergencies here(that still makes me laugh). . .Aubrey was my eggroll wrapper yesterday and did a fabulous job. It was fun working in the kitchen with my little girl and teaching her eggroll wrapping skillz.

We tried a new recipe from allrecipes.com: Southwest-Style Eggrolls. They turned out so yummy! I'd recommend trying this recipe!

That is sooo Funny. I can maybe sleep better now knowing the Holly and her dear family are not involved in any egg roll emergencies.

I wonder what would be considered an egg roll emergency?

Loved the post.

They look delicious! The picture reminds me of the days when we used to make them. It's been a long time! I wonder if the boys would like them?

That's hilarious! And yeah, what constitutes an eggroll emergency exactly??? I'm going to be up all night trying to think of one, I just know it. :) I remember when Mom used to make them, yummy.

I often suffer from the eggroll emergency, but even then my impatience opts for Pei Wei rather than waiting the 10 minutes to defrost.

First, I'm totally impressed with the homemade egg rolls. I'm not nearly that brave in the kitchen.
Second, I'm even more impressed with Aubrey. Madeline, my 7 year old, wouldn't go near an egg roll if her life depended on it!
