Great Wolf Lodge

We had so much fun at the Great Wolf Lodge last year that we decided to go again this year. Earlier this week we surprised the kids with another visit! Its such a great escape during the winter. For a day and a half, it feels like summer again:) Here are lots of pics of our wonderful mini-vacation....

Faces of excitement. We're here, we're actually here! One minute they are sitting in school, the next they are off on vacation(we busted them out cuz we're cool like that:)

Ella doing a little cabin pose. They were so excited to have the Kids Camp suite this time. Each kid had their own bed. There is also a little television inside too.

We brought our own dinner. Root beer and pizza. One of the kids favorites. Yeah, we're cheap. And we feed our kids super healthy stuff:) We did not want to buy every meal at the lodge, so we brought our own dinner and breakfast.

Time for some fun!

And some craziness!

The kiddie area, where Cali and I chilled most of the time.

I love Aubrey's face in this picture:) Sheer delight? Terror? No, she just makes that face. She is squinching up her eyes so as not to let water enter them:)

Cali LOVED riding the "motorcycles" as she called them.

Ella being silly. And a little scary actually.

Cali puttin the moves on a little boy. Look at her batting her eyelashes! We better watch this one.

The ginormous splash from the bucket. This bucket scares the crap outta my kids. Aubrey and Ella went on the big slides that come out of this play fort, but would climb up at the speed of light to make sure the bucket didn't pour on them. A bell starts to ding about 20 seconds before it pours, but if its dinging, they are not up there. They wait until right after it dumps and then they go. And they go as many times as they can before the bell sounds. My kids....:)

Story time with Wiley the Wolf

Ella is still scared of costume characters, but overcame her fear and took a picture with him. She was so proud(and so were we!)

Playing a little MagiQuest(an interactive hotel video game thingamajig). We did good, but could never defeat the stupid dragon. Oh well, I guess we aren't cut out for the magi life.

The treehouse in the lobby. And two cute kids in it.

Cali found a lap to sit in

This year we went a little wild and actually bought them icecream late at night. :)

Cabin fun

Our 3 girls before we left, hugging the bears goodbye.

Great Wolf Lodge, we already miss you....

That was such a fun winter get-a-way. Thanks for organizing that one for us.

Funny, we were swimming on Mon/Tues, then playing in the snow for the past two days...crazy.
