The Dallas area received just over 12 inches of snow last week! We have so many pictures that I'll have to break them up into probably 3 posts:) I decided to start off with a few pics of the scene around our house on Friday morning(kid pics and sled videos coming soon!)
The weight of the snow proved to be too much for one of our trees...yep, the branch snapped.
Our home in white. We are probably the only ones on the street who have evergreens in the front yard, which doesn't allow the snow to fall all over. Bummer.

A picture of down the street-this shows a better view of how much snow we received.

How exciting are these pictures. I can only imagine the excitement the girls had when awakening that morning. Isn't this pretty spiritual also. I know when it snowed in Corpus in 2004 it was very spiritual for me. It's so beautiful I'm so glad you guys were there to experience it all. I'm especially grateful you didn't have to be on the roads driving in it all. B E A U T I F U L L L L L!!!!!!
Oh yeah can't hardly stand it to wait for the rest of the pics. Heee heee.
Wasn't it fun? All I can see left now are bits and pieces of snowmen.
Holly, the snow is wonderful, but your news about the baby is more wonderful. I will keep you and Joey and your family in my prayers as you await his/her birth. Congratulations! Love, Barbara (Laura's Mom)
I miss the snow already. And yes, I can still see remnants of what used to be snowmen and little bits of snow on rooftops. I wish it would snow again! :)
wow, that is a lot of snow. Looks like joey brought it back with him from Utah.
I love the one of your playhouse roof. Can you believe how much snow we got?! It was crazy and so much fun.
