While we were visiting Joey's parents, the grandkids got to plant a garden of all kinds of veggies and even some flowers. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon family activity and everyone enjoyed being outside together planting away.
First things first, gardening gloves.
Second, smiles :)

Tata and Shelby lead the way

Beautiful Aubrey and a beautiful daisy

Cali being a big helper, straining a little even:) Those plants can be pretty heavy! :)

Gettin down to the nitty gritty

Cali loves roly polies

Joe and Joey taking a break

An adorable smile, someones having fun!

Kai and Aub, buds.

Phew, that was hard work. Gotta chill and drink some lemonade.

Doggies pose for a picture. It only took about 20 shots before I finally got one with both faces looking at me:)

And just a reeeeeally cute picture of Ella with Shelby
Can't wait to see what the garden brings when we visit again!

All of those pictures made me smile. :) Everyone is growing up so much, I hardly recognized Kai and Don. Wow! And that little Shelby is just precious!!!
What a great family activity. I have wonderful memories of summers with my Great-Grandparents harvesting cantaloupe, peas, zucchini, and tomatoes. In fact, my friend just gave me a blackberry bush starter that I'm going to plant tomorrow as my first endeavor for the year.
What a great time you all had together at Grandma and Grandpa's.
I hope that you will get to go back and let the kids pick the veggies and flowers they planted. What a fun garden.
I have been thinking of you. Have you had your sonagram yet? I am anxiously waiting for the news... so .... after you tell family you HAVE TO TELL ME NEXT.
Happy Easter.... hugs, Lura
