Mother's Day 2010. . .no longer a pedi-virgin. And I have the sweetest husband, daughters and best friend ever.

First, I would like to wish everyone a belated Happy Mother's Day! I love you Mom, Grandma & Cyndi!

So, I've slacked in the blog department this week because I've been partying with my best friend Laura who came down to visit me this week. She is gone now. I'm sad:( But we had a great time! I will post some of our good times and adventures together soon. But for now, I'll just post a little bit about my Mother's Day. Laura flew in on Saturday and I scheduled us pedicures and we had a delicious Italian dinner at Carrabbas. Thats what I wanted as my gift this year-pedicures and a night out with my BFF. And I have to tell you, I had never had a professional pedicure. Yep, thats right. Pedi-virgin no more....

Laura and I about to receive some much needed pampering. Us pregos need it!(We are 2 weeks apart in our pregnancies-so cool!)

Ahhh...this feels good:) We did the pedicure that also has the paraffin wax treatment. Wowsas, when it came time for that part, I was surprised. That stuff is freakin hot! But it did feel good after the initial burn. I was surprised I still had feet after that was over:) I thought they might have melted off. The people there were laughing at me because of my reaction.

I REALLY hate posting a picture of my feet because I hate them. But I have to do it for posterity....this is the prettiest they've ever looked. Sad, but true:)

The next morning, the kids and Joey woke up early and cooked up a wonderful french toast breakfast complete with scrambled eggs and bacon. It was so yummy! Thanks everyone!

They helped to set the table too...notice the fancy napkin folds. Aubrey's specialty.I'll have to take pics of the other cards they made me and the sweet things they wrote and post those soon. They were heartwarming and made me very happy. I am so blessed to be a mama with 3 precious daughters and a son on the way! Thanks everyone for everything. And Joey, thanks for letting me have a girls day with Laura and for taking great care of the kids. It was so fun and a much-needed break!

Oh Holly, what a lovely Mother's Day you had, and well deserved too!! I have never had a pedicure. I've been to the chiropodist lots of times, just to have my nails cut and feet buffed, but it is more clinical than a pedicure and he doesn't paint your nails! I hate my feet too. I think I might be too embarassed to have an actual pedicure, but yours look lovely all painted up! You go girl! xxoo
