This year's Thanksgiving was spent at our home. We invited our good friends, the Richey's, over for a good meal and great conversation. Its always nice when you can't spend the holidays with family, to have the next best thing, wonderful friends. And this was our first time to do our very own turkey! And it turned out great-phew! :) Great job Joey! And I even decorated it, hahahaha. Gotta have a perdy turkey. The day was perfect. Literally. I am not the type to paint rosy fake pics of our family, but the day was so great. No kids fought. Everyone was kind to each other. I had helpers in the kitchen. I didn't feel stressed out because company was coming over. We just made food, cleaned up the house a little bit, watched the parade, hung out, and ate way too much food and hung out some more...and then ate more:) It was just a great day and I was so grateful. It even ended with a trip to the movies, all 7 of us for the first time, and that went miraculously flawless too. Wesley did great! We brought in the carseat and lots of snacks(food is the way to his heart, kinda like his mom:) I don't know how or why we were blessed with a perfect Thanksgiving, but I was thankful for it! And P.S. Frozen is the best Disney flick in YEARS! We are now obsessed with it and the music :) Such a cute movie! Hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving too! I love the holidays. Every one of them. And I'm so thankful for the blessings in my life, especially my sweet family and the gospel.
