I have to take a couple of minutes to write a post about my Uncle Francis(my Grandma Adams baby brother). He passed away the day that Luke was born, March 9, 2015. I remember feeling so sad in the hospital that morning when I found out just a couple of hours before Luke was here. He had been battling tumors/cancer and we knew he would be leaving us soon, but it was sooner than I think most of us thought :( This is a picture of him and his sweetheart, my Aunt Shirley. Aren't they the cutest? He was someone that I truly admired and looked up to in my life. A righteous man, good husband and loving father. Always a warm smile, a hello and a hug. The last time I saw him was in November..he wasn't doing too well but he still gave me his big hug and talked to me about my family and how much he enjoyed seeing the things/photos I posted on FB (I love that he was a facebooker! smile emoticon ) He was good at making you feel like he cared about you and always had such a warm disposition. He was solid and strong in the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was a leader. He stood in for all of our babies blessings even. Our family wouldn't have been the same without him. I'm grateful for the years I was able to grow up in CC near his sweet family and for the memories. I love you Uncle Francis and will miss you! Grateful for the gospel and to know families are forever. We've been thinking about you Aunt Shirley and praying for you.
